Climb Every Mountain

The Philippine JVC Badminton Open is this August. I've been thinking whether I should join this year as I've done the last two years. I've been weighing the physical and schedule cost required of me. I'm already 37 this year. I've never been super buff or even disciplined.

It might mean sleeping early every day. No more late night to early morning bouts of Ragnarok On-Line (pRO).

It will mean lesser carousing and fewer drinking sessions.

It will mean watching what I eat every day.

It will mean training even if I'm so sick and tired of seeing my badminton racquet.

Everything will have to give way to training.

I don't want to crash out during the first elimination round like last year. Or reach the second round because my opponent didn't show up like the year before that.



Climb every mountain,
Cross every stream,
Follow every rainbow,
'til you find your dream.
