The Ugly American is white, middle aged to late middle age and has a social standing of middle high to high. And did I mention he's white?

What is irritating about the Ugly American is that he thinks that his views are the only views that matter. He doesn't care whether some people have better understanding of the situation. He can't accept views that contradict his own life experience, even if that experience is lived only in Beverly Hills or some other wealthy all-white neighborhood. His view is the only view.

The Ugly Americans fear the waning of the political, economic and military power of the United States of America. I guess they should. After all, without that political, economic and military might, they, the Ugly Americans, will have to face being ignored.

That, for them, is a fate worse than death.

Muslims Condemn Mumbai Attacks.

I am Christian, let us make that clear. But, everytime a "Muslim" does these crazy things, I feel ashamed. I feel ashamed because these so called "Muslims" do something bad, they scream out "Allahu Akbar", God is Great. I feel the same shame as when those white racists in the United States of America say that their God-fearing nation should not have a person of color to be their president. A Christian racist? It's not allowed. Any Christian who is a racist without feeling shame is a fake Christian. Yet is is Christians are smeared because of that white racist's actions. Just as Muslims are smeared by any madman killing people in the name of Islam. And when Christians and Muslims are smeared, our God's name is smeared.

What will the non-believers say now? Believing in one god exclusively is evil because it breeds intolerance and contempt for others? What will the atheists say? Is there really a good God when his followers are evil?

How do we even begin to teach that Allah, the merciful and compassionate, loves the world and longs to bless us, when we His children aren't merciful nor compassionate?

I'm so sad.
