Hello There

Writing stuff for a blog is often harder than posting a "tweet" or "status".  In my case, it's always been easier to write comedic one-liners on my FaceBook page, as that is my favorite type of prose.  Yet very rarely will I ever write anything deep on FB.  I never bare my soul there.  And here I do.

If you're reading this, then you're one up on many of my "friends" on FB.  My closest friends know about Elaine and Cathy and Janet but never knew all three at once.  My closest friends might know that I love to watch anime but they never knew what is it about my favorite series that brings me back to watch the same episodes over and over again.  Then again, those details aren't important.

Very often, I have things that I would like to write about in this safe little cul-de-sac of the 'net but I never get around to writing them.  My religious views for one.  Some of them are lengthy essays but miscellaneous events occur and I forget about writing.

Writing about my heartbreak is the easiest.  I don't really have to say much at all.  Disappointment is universal and so is frustration.  Happiness is a rare bird in the skies of my soul but occasionally I do see it and hear its sweet melody.

I hope that I will write more often.  Just as I hope to play my guitar and my trumpet more often in the future.

The future is almost here.  Happy New Year, dear reader.  Be blessed.
